Christmas in September is Here! 100 Shoebox Campaign!

In my last post I mentioned that my Educator YouTube friends & I have been gathering some of our favorite tools that we use while working with kids. Well everything is uploaded and ready to go and we are kicking off our Shoebox campaign.

We are inviting you to take part in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox campaign. Samaritan’s Purse has been in existence for years serving young children and families in war torn countries around the world. Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian organization endeavoring to share the love of God in word & deed.

We invite to you to participate.

Just for participating we will email you all the cool teacher/parent educational tools that we have collaboratively put together.

  1. Go to Operation Christmas Child and create a box or 2 online.
  2. Take a screenshot of the Thank-You page during your check out while creating a Shoebox from the Samaritan’s Purse website. Or take a screenshot of the Thank-you email from Samaritan’s Purse after creating your shoebox.
  3. Email me one of your screenshots to dawn@thesingingnurse.com please put “Shoebox Participant” in the subject.
  4. I will email you all of our “Thanks for Participating” teacher tools.  Our Goal Page on Samaritan’s Purse is called Dawn-TheSingingNurse & Friends Here is the Goal Page Link

I Dawn love kids and love sharing creative and fun way to learn about being healthy in body, mind & Spirit. I have contributed 3 of my health lessons, activities & songs that all have an accompanying video on Youtube.

Angie from “Making the Basics Fun” has contributed 4 of her awesome “Early Finisher” games/activity PDF’s that are appropriate for K & 1st graders.(I say they would be awesome in a binder for a road trip too) Angie is a retired teacher with loads of experience and loves sharing teacher tips. She has a Website, Podcast and resource filled YouTube channel. She also has a great sense of humor.

Connie comes with the experience of writing & speaking and is now popularly known as the fun loving Grandma Goodie. She comes to us with a heart for the kiddos and shares her sweet bible stories on her YouTube channel to give parents a short break. She is fun, her videos are creative and of great quality. I am sure your kiddos will come to love spending time with her. She releases new videos each Sunday from her “Grandma Goodie’s Bible Stories” YouTube channel.

Rose comes to us from “Sunday School Made Easy”, her YouTube channel where she brings all kinds of crafts & bible lessons to life. She releases videos regularly. Rose has the gift of encouragement and coaches new teachers. She has contributed a cute bookmark PDF of the Fruit of the Spirit.

Shonda comes to us from “Shonda’s Real Food & Drinks” YouTube channel. She is all about being the healthiest you can be by eating the real deal. She is a kind hearts teacher and has a bunch of resources to help you live a creative healthy life. She releases regularly on her platforms. She has contributed her Salad Guide PDF and a yummy Sauerkraut recipe. Shonda has a Website and a Podcast too.
